1) Hosting – Login Information.

If you are based in the UK, ideally you need a UK based hosting company.  Foreign companies are also good, but they tend to be slower for UK based audiences. This is the company I use and recommend, 4UHosting: http://www.4uhosting.co.uk/clients/aff.php?aff=28 – basic hosting package is £29.99 per year – click here for their website
**Important note: when you purchase your hosting, please ensure you include a SSL certificate – 4UHosting provide this at £7.99 per year which covers all domains within your hosting.
Your SSL certificate encrypts data and will prevent internet browsers from flagging your site as unsafe.
2) Domain name – supplier login information
Your hosting company can supply your domain name, often (and with 4UHosting), your domain name is included with the cost of hosting. If you would prefer to keep your domain name separate, I’d recommend either GoDaddy or 123-reg – most domain companies are very similar, and it’s not particularly necessary to keep your domain separate from your hosting.
3) Mail Service provider – log in information
If you wish to have an opt-in or Lead-Magnet to start growing a list of interested people, you will need a mail service provider.
There are many to choose from, my recommendation is DRIP (which also has a free account up to 100 subscribers) – this service has a lot to offer. Great functionality, and can easily scale as your business grows. Click here for their website.
Also, Mailchimp is very popular, due to its free account, there are restrictions on functionality, but it is a good point to start with it – you may find you need to change / upgrade as your business grows. Click here for their website
There are many other options to choose from, from Infusionsoft, to Ontraport, to Aweber, however, most people do not require all the functionality in these platforms, if you are unsure of your needs, drop us an email, and we can have a chat.

4) Graphics / Images (Optional)

If you already have graphics and images you would like included on your holding page, please forward these via email here

If you do not currently have images and graphics, these can either be purchased from Fotolia to fit with your branding, or we can create them for you at additional (but very reasonable) cost.

5) Content

Consider the pages you require on your new site, and what you want on them. Download my quick guide to creating content below. Often this can be the part that holds people back when purchasing a new site, this guide will give you an idea on how to make the process much easier & simpler, and if you are still unsure, we can talk about it in more length on our call.
