Centered“Some days life is all about dreams, hopes and visions for the future… Others it’s about putting one foot in front of the other, and that’s cool too.” Unknown

I love this quote, because I often find we get so wrapped up in what we should be doing that sometimes we end up exhausting ourselves and overlooking just how far we have come.

I don’t believe it is possible to be on the up every single moment of every day, I believe that we need the lows to really appreciate the highs.

Right now, I’m on a high with my business and the way things are going. I’ve had a whole heap of ‘stuff’ sent to me from the Universe over the last couple of months, none of it bad, but lots of it busy. Little tests to make sure I am sticking to my guns and not getting off the track. I’ve had lots of invitations to ‘partner up with others’, and every single one of them sounded super awesome and exciting, BUT for a long term strategy none of them were an ideal fit. And whilst I did get drawn along the wave for a while, I came to realize that it isn’t true to my own purpose and goal, and the reality was it wasn’t particularly true to their purpose and goal either, but sometimes it helps to just talk stuff through. I’m more than happy to have had that experience, because it was a lesson, and in a lovely graceful way, I said no.

I’ve also had a lot of the ‘bit work’ come in – people have a need for me to help them do the tech, which I’m more than capable of doing, it’s just not in my radar to be doing that kind of work right now. It’s been a grand start to the year and I am clearer on my message than ever, and for that, I’m truly grateful.

So here I am, making a pledge to myself on my own blog.

Raise your game Kerry Anne. Say ‘No’ to what doesn’t serve, and an unresounding YES! to what does. Have the courage and intellect to recognize both.
